Andrew went above and beyond! My mom had lived at her house in Barrie for 29 years and was apprehensive about the process in selling her house. Andrew Hermiston was extremely reliable, caring and understanding of my Mom’s wants and needs. He made my mom his priority and thoroughly explained the process in selling her home and it’s great potential. This helped my Mom feel assured and at ease. Andrew and his team were absolutely fantastic from day one. Andrew set our house at a price that brought the most people through, resulting in multiple offers and ultimately $275,000 over asking price. Andrew’s team planned the staging and he even paid to have the main hall of the house painted before the photos were done. He walked us through each stage of the process and made sure we were comfortable as we moved through his methodology. I can't say enough good things about the experience I had selling my home through Andrew. Throughout the process he was professional, friendly, and extremely approachable. He made sound recommendations and offered expert advice. I had listed in late summer of 2019 with no luck however that did not deter Andrew. First, we knew in the early stages of our first meeting that things might be different working with Andrew when he proceeded to mention three key areas of concern homeowners too often experience when selling and buying homes that we too had experienced with previous agents. How rare is that! Andrew then sold our Barrie home for our asking price and he sold it before it was even listed (in a private showing he was able to arrange just prior to our home being listed). On the purchase side of things, Andrew quickly zeroed in on the type and price range of new home we were looking to purchase in Brantford. He helped us locate and view a number of Brantford homes and during that process his focus was not a quick purchase and commission but rather to help make sure that we purchased the right home for us, no matter how long it took. Which we did. Andrew is honest, ethical, professional, organized, and thoughtful to the point that the pressure of selling our home and purchasing a new home was never felt.
